Presenter vs. Facilitator -- Which are YOU???
Are you a Trainer or a Facilitator? Does it make a difference?
I was partnered with a woman for a week who labeled herself as a “Motivational Speaker”. At the end of the day mid-week she asked me in the car; “What’s the difference between a trainer and a facilitator?” My answer was; “A trainer believes that when they are speaking learning is taking place. A facilitator believes that when the learner is talking learning is taking place.” She looked at me with complete confusion. She couldn’t comprehend the difference.

About your facilitator:
Brad Withers has facilitated over twenty-three hundred program days in forty-five states, ten countries and six provinces. His facilitation skills include topics ranging from Customer Service to Leadership, Systems Thinking and Creativity. He has presented for several hospitals and medical organizations including the Cleveland Clinic, the F.D.A, Montefiore in the Bronx and the Centers for Disease Control.
Brad has a double major in Business and Philosophy from Wittenberg University and an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University. He has studied under Robert Fritz, Peter Senge and attended many Gestalt Psychology classes in Cleveland.
As a volunteer, Brad has been a Scoutmaster and a member of his Church's Administrative Board. He has been in the Top 100 of the Toastmasters International speaking competition
