Making the Most of Meetings (During the Time of COVID)
Now about 8 months into a global pandemic, what more can we do or learn about trying to master or make the most out of virtual meetings? Far more than you might think. Meetings are both an art and a science, which is why when most folks talk about “zoom fatigue” they’re really just talking about meeting fatigue in a new virtual format. It’s time to learn some tips, tricks and skills to make meetings matter and feel intelligent, no matter if they’re online, over the phone, or in-person. Participants will learn how to: • Structure and design meetings based not meeting type and expected goals. • Modify meetings effectively based on the meeting technologies being leveraged. • Make meetings during a pandemic more empathetic, inclusive, and human.
About your facilitator:
Ben Bisbee is currently the CVO at Rhinocorn, a design house for nonprofit innovation and advancement projects. He is also the co-author of the new book "The Unashamed Guide to Virtual Management" published by ATD Press. He is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and problem-solver.
Considering himself a social technologist, Bisbee is quickly becoming known for his work in virtual technology and methodologies, helping to build strengthened relationships between humans and the technology they use to work, play, and engage.
