Presenter: Lisa Minor, MBA, CPC
Lisa M Minor, MBA, CPC is the Director of Caregiver Development & Communications for the Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute at Cleveland Clinic.
In Lisa’s role, she leads the strategic direction and implementation of employee development for the more than 70,000 caregivers worldwide. Lisa strives to impact Cleveland Clinic’s vision of being the best place to work in healthcare with innovative solutions that connect employees with opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.
In addition to the above, Lisa directs the communication functions of the department promoting learning and development. Learning to Lead, is Mandel Global Leadership & Learning Institute’s leadership development podcast, sharing our best practices with the world.
Lisa is a certified professional coach. In her 10 years at Cleveland Clinic, she’s provided both performance and development coaching to physician leaders, executives and leaders alike. Her coaching style can be described as humble, kind, empathetic and challenging when appropriate.
Lisa holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and an undergraduate degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Lisa lives in Avon Lake, OH with her husband Chad, two young boys, Harrison and Henry and enjoys spending her free time on the lake.
Presenter: Ashley K Villani, MBA, PHR, ACC
Ashley Villani leads the Mandel GLLI’s comprehensive coaching portfolio across the Cleveland Clinic enterprise in addition to driving alignment with the people side of integrations and activations for new Cleveland Clinic locations. Based on her versatile Human Resources background, Ashley is often sought to lead and/or operationalize strategic projects within the division of HR including numerous partnerships with Talent Acquisition.
Ashley has 15+ years of experience in various industries; beginning her career in telecommunication sales where she earned a position in management. While finishing her MBA, she joined GE’s Lighting Division on their Nela Park campus. Here she expanded her experience in Finance and Continuous Improvement earning her Six Sigma Green Belt while exploring Human Resources. Ashley then transitioned her career into Human Resources at a local manufacturing organization, Swagelok Company. Here she led a team of HR professionals and coached Operations leaders to achieve their full potential. Ashley pursued her interest in the Healthcare industry in 2015 when she joined Cleveland Clinic in the Human Resources Division partnering with the Nursing Institute at Main Campus. In this role, she partnered with and coached new and experienced Nursing leaders to lead effective teams.
In addition, Ashley has over 10 years of experience in facilitating both large and small sized groups in the areas of Human Resources, leader assimilations, social media in healthcare, employee engagement ,creating a healthy workplace culture and has presented at a national conference.
Ashley’s coaching style is described as supportive, empowering, and realistic.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and HR Management and MBA from Cleveland State University. Ashley is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute and is certified in Agile Project Management. Ashley is a 2016 graduate of the Cleveland Clinic Emerging Leader Program. In 2018 Ashley became a certified professional coach (CPC) and received her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in October 2020.
Ashley and her husband enjoy spending time with their 3-year old son, Henry, and Bluetick Coonhound April. She has a passion for helping others and has completed and coached multiple endurance events including marathons, half marathons, triathlons, and century cycle rides that support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is also an active participant with the Cleveland Clinic’s heart walk supporting the American Heart Association.
