Secrets of a Successful Upskilling Program

Join us for an evening with the 2021 Workplace Learning and Performance Leadership Award winners! Cardinal Health at Home Solutions developed a comprehensive upskilling program to prepare their workforce for the January “Deductible Season.”

The program:

  • Identified skills of existing agents objectively, including Top/Mid-level and bottom performers and built a flexible work force without bubble staffing
  • Targeted remediation training of the agents to meet the business need during busy season
  • Level set skills across the broader team and allowed for actionable data to support career path, learning path and performance management.

Program participants increased their proficiency by 11 percent, and the organization decreased training hours from 5600 to 1097 hours.
