  • This rate is for current ATD Greater Cleveland members and includes all member types. Please note: If you do not register prior to the program, walk-ins will be charged the non-member rate, regardless of member status, and attendance can not be guaranteed.
  • To participate in chapter reciprocity, current members of any ATD Chapter in Ohio should use this option. A registration code is required; please contact the ATD Greater Cleveland chapter office for code information.
  • For attendees who are not current members of the guests, non-members, national ATD members, and any members who are paying at the door.
  • Those members who are part of ATD and the Chapter membership.

What you want and NEED to Know!

The time is coming for us to open the application process for the Annual Workplace and Learning Performance Award (WLP).  This award recognizes a Northeast Ohio organization that demonstrates outstanding leadership in organizational learning, employee development and performance.  ATD membership is not required to be eligible for the award. Join us to learn what makes this award so special to our ATD Chapter! 

Each year, we open the application process and encourage all in the L&D area to submit their information. We wanted to provide all who attend information that you can use to

  • Submit your organization and program for the award
  • Understand the judging criteria and process
  • Learn from past award winners as we discuss what made their submissions awesome
  • Know what you should be gathering now to support your submission

We will hear from our expert judges who will share and discuss the things they look for in a submission. Make time out to join us and learn about this opportunity for recognition for your organization and showcase your excellent program.

Presenters: Lori Klepfer and Kathy Telban

Lori Klepfer- Lori is a trainer and instructional designer for the IT Service Desk at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she on boards and coaches new agents during their first weeks at the IT service desk.

Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, she was the CEO of LJK Consulting, LLC a learning strategy and design consulting firm dedicated to helping people perform better. Lori has edited books and has delivered workshops and programs around effective business writing and implementing large-scale system. She also has facilitated courses in Cleveland State University’s train-the-trainer certification program

Lori has been an active member in the Greater Cleveland ATD chapter and served on the board for most of 20+ year tenure, leading the chapter five to six times as President. She has managed the WLP program as well, over the years.

Kathy Telban CPT, SPHR, MEd has served as one of the key reviewers and judges for the WLP Award for many years. She is also the Chief Outcome Strategist and Coach, Master Facilitator and Author at iSOLVit.org.
