Do you have “prisoners” in your sessions? Or people who show up to a training with no idea why they were sent? Do your participants show up harried and distracted by their piles of files and over-full email in-boxes?

Join facilitators Susan Aldrich and Sarah Spengler for this hands-on program, which will focus on all the things you can do before, at the entry, and during the first few minutes of your session to help learners get focused and ready to learn.

The secrets of good “Learner Preparation” are part of the unique Accelerative Learning approach. These methods help learners feel confident, engaged, curious and energized: all important emotions that set them up for learning success.
We’ll dive into your current practices in Learner Preparation and we’ll elaborate on some of our techniques that have proven successful.

You’ll come away with lots of tips and ideas that you can implement right away, as well as some ideas to explore in the future.

Who should attend? Training Specialists, Training Managers, Learning & Development Specialists, Instructional Designers, HR Managers, Directors of Training/Learning & Development, and for those responsible for training and development at any level and in all types of business.
